The daughter Elizabeth, born in 1835, would later marry John Carter. She died relatively young, at the age of 48, in January, 1883. As can be seen, she was widely considered to be the first white female born in Kansas, a claim that Frank repeats. She is buried in the Simerwell Cemetery in Shawnee County, KS. (Her tombstone has an incorrect year of death.)
